This solid oak fridge originates from Vichy mid France & dates to circa 1920.
The fridge has been fully restored including new insulation, linings, shelves, engine and condenser. The original meat hooks have been sterilised and plated in brushed nickel and are movable along the original mounting bars.
The external timber has been lightly sanded to keep most of the original age and has then been wax lacquered to seal and protect the wood. All of the hinges and door catches are original and have also been sympathetically restored, to enable them to work correctly yet have the feel of an old lever.
